Gom Jabbar

Gom Jabbar is an unapologetic musical calamity from around the world.

Expect a forcefully humanist lore, compelling original melodies, unusual rhythms, a wide range of world instruments and synths. With often poetic lyrics and themes ranging from the personal to the cosmic, Gom Jabbar seeks to expand the vocabulary of popular music. Genres and folk traditions are at once respected and reinvented. Melodic and structural freedom seeps in from the Classical and Jazz traditions. Instrumentations range from tastefully acoustic to contemporary electronic.

Some of Gom Jabbar's myriad influences include: Monty Python, Sting, Buena Vista Social Club, Massive Attack, The Prodigy, Norah Jones, Eminem, Tom Lehrer. And, of course, "Dune" by Frank Herbert and "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams, to name just a few books.

Gom Jabbar's music is available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, TidalQobuz, YouTube, and Amazon Music.
